No need to fill out forms. Just talk to Seren — it can turn the conversation into records and help you make sense of patterns over time.

About the AI

Not a doctor — a companion
that knows your records

What the AI does

  • Log what you told it as that day's record
  • Pull a stretch of records into something readable
  • Surface trends, like how sleep or weather tracks with pain
  • Listen, whenever you want to talk about the pain

What the AI doesn't do

  • Decide what condition you have
  • Tell you what treatment or medication to take
  • Replace seeing a doctor

Seren is not intended to diagnose, treat, or prescribe medication. If you need a medical judgment about your symptoms, please consult a healthcare professional.

Behind Seren

I started building this for my wife

This app began with something my wife said after she developed fibromyalgia: "Even when I keep records, it never feels like I'm doing anything for my treatment."

Seren is not just a symptom tracker. The AI organizes your records, helps you look back, and takes the tedious work off your hands — lightening the daily load while making the act of recording feel worth something. I want that experience to help people stay engaged with their treatment and their everyday care.

Chronic pain is often invisible to others. Only the person living it knows how hard it is, and it's difficult to convey to doctors and family alike — which leaves some people psychologically and socially isolated. I want an AI that stays close by to ease a little of that frustration.

Fibromyalgia is estimated to affect around 200 million people worldwide, including about 2 million in Japan. Many more live with other forms of chronic pain. I want to bring as many of them as possible a companion that understands their symptoms.
